Composting Assembly November 2025

We were lucky to have two lovely ladies from WCC visit our school to teach us all about composting.

They showed us what belongs in a compost bin, why composting is important, and even helped us get our hands dirty by using compostable materials and compost to plant a seed to take home.

The highlight for many children was seeing real worms, which are essential helpers in the composting process.

We are excited to begin composting at school very soon.
