We also had an assembly about going plastic free and learning why this is so important for the environment.
We discussed the difference we can make by reducing our plastic use and choosing recycled alternatives whenever possible.
One surprising fact we learnt is that a single crisp packet can take up to 80 years to biodegrade. This has encouraged us all to think more carefully about the plastics we use every day.
