Pre-School 2-3 years

Exhall Cedars Pre-School is run under Community Facility Powers, overseen by the Governors of the Infant School. It is OFSTED registered for children aged 2-4 years and is open Monday to Friday during term time. Within our purpose built setting situated on the Exhall Cedars Infant School site we offer high-quality childcare in an enriched environment. The Pre- School is managed by the Nursery/ Pre-School Manager and overseen by the Infant School’s Foundation Stage Lead. They work closely together to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

We are confident that we provide a high quality pre-school provision for children aged 2/3yrs.

This consistency throughout the early years of the children establishes confidence and growth with seamless integration into the school setting.

The Pre-School Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum  is planned with regard to the 7 areas of ‘Early Learning Goals’, as laid down by the Government and is taught through a mix of structured free play and adult-directed activities

The pre-school is managed by a dedicated manager for Nursery / Preschool and overseen by the school’s Foundation Stage Manager, which ensures a consistent link between the two settings.

Dedicated, qualified and highly experienced staff are employed at the pre-school, who quickly get to know your child very well.
